The soul of the inn - with love and dedication is devoted to every detail in and around the house, thus ensuring all a pleasant holiday atmosphere. Her specialty is the cuisine - so guests can enjoy traditional delicacies.

In her role as manager she gives a lot of attention to detail but prefers to stay behind the scene. She does however know what the guests needs are. Her second role is combined with being a grandmother to Laura Marie and Katharina.

Due to his hands on approach, from management, restaurant, technical issues to daily matters, his tasks vary inside and outside the house.

From the moment you arrive you will receive a warm and friendly welcome. The family philosophy and tradition is felt when you are checking in. You will find us helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have and recommendations of places to visit during your stay.

A "sporty” Gasthof needs a good partner in matters of physical activity. Agreed! An avid cyclist, he can recommend an easy cycling tour or if you prefer a more demanding one. He always has an open ear and enjoys a good chat about his second love, wines.

In our restaurant "Gasthof Scheer” you are in the best hands. The feel good atmosphere is instantly present while you enjoy the friendly service. Alongside this she is also the loving mom of the two youngest in the family.
